Nuestra Palabra: Latinos Having Their Say presented the Houston book launch of Hamaca Blues, my latest poetry collection.

Joined by Lourdes Jiminez on guitar and vocals and Albert Gralau on violin, I shared an evening of poetry and music exploring Puerto Rican memory, ancestral roots, and women’s experiences. Together, we brought the words from the page into a shared experience of rhythm, voice, and storytelling.

Watch the finale below, recorded before a full room of readers, friends, and community members who gathered to celebrate Hamaca Blues.
